Google SketchUp


Google SketchUp, which is free for personal use, includes simple tools for creating 3D models of a variety of items, including houses, sheds, decks, home additions and woodworking projects. The software comes with a plug in for Google Earth, so items can be posted on the service, which provides satellite views of geographical locations.

Google bought @Last Software, based in Boulder, Colo., in March for an undisclosed sum. The purchase was expected to add value to its mapping platform through integration with Google Earth. The technology is expected to eventually find its way into other Google services as well.

Google is also launching a website called 3D Warehouse, where SketchUp users can store and share their designs and collaborate, the Mountain View, Calif., company announced Thursday.

The free version of SketchUp is for personal use only. It is based on the existing SketchUp Pro 5, a fee-based version with a commercial license and more advanced features.

SketchUp is particularly well-suited for users interested in creating 3-D models of structures, such as houses, sheds, decks, home additions and woodworking projects, according to Google.

dirSpace Web Directory New Style!

Finally, after months of programming, creating content, a new design, new functions, it's time to present the new style in web directory.

The directory is completely build in css style, meaning fast loading and clean programming, all according to the w3.org guidelines.

Currently we are continue to work on the directory to complete it even more, so it's work in progress..
